§ Bus/Car-
it will take 15 to 16 hours from Delhi to Srinagar by bus or car covering 854
kms via NH-1A. From Chandigarh it may take 10 hours covering 596 kms via NH-1A
§ Train - Jamu Tawi, Udampur and Srinagar are major stations in Jammu and Kashmir
which are well connected to other major railway stations.

Shimla has narrow gauge rail track which is connected to Kalka Railway station.
The nearest railway station is Kalka Railway station which is well connected by
all major railway stations. There are many regular trains from Delhi to Kalka
that takes 8 hours only. Kalka to Shimla is 7 hours journey by toy train.
§ Bus/Car-
Shimla is connected by NH-22. It may take 8 to 10 hrs. There are direct Volvo
Buses from Delhi to Shimla or Chandigarh to Shimla.
